In stock now
Tom Anderson custom guitars are very limited. Their demand far exceeds their ability to supply. We don't get many but occasionally we have a few in stock.
Some good news and some 'other' news:
It seems to be the new state of things, inflation and prices increasing. Like all other manufacturers Tom Anderson has experienced significant increases in the cost of wood, paint, fret wire, hardware, plastic, etc. Some costs have even gone up nearly 100%! Consequently they have announced a price increase effective on all instruments shipped beginning March 1. The exception is for customers who already have a confirmed order in and scheduled for 2023. We at Deepwater Guitars will not increase 2022 prices on any guitar in stock before March 1 (which is only 2) so take advantage!
We leave photos and info up on guitars that we've sold recently for your viewing pleasure.

Tom Anderson Angel in Transparent Forest Green to Teal burstWe are starting the new year out right with this heavenly instrument! You can almost hear the angels singing in the lush green forest. This Angel sings as well. With a sleeker body shape, 24 frets, 25 1/2" scale length, two rich full humbuckers and vintage tremolo, you have everything you need to create singing tones. We started with an alder body married to a maple neck in Even Taper neck shape with a rosewood fingerboard. The neck has a 1 11/16" nut width, jumbo stainless steel frets, a natural Satin neck back with Matching headstock. The body is a highly figured Quilt maple top finished in a deep, rich Transparent Forest Green with a hint of a Teal bursted edge. In addition to the HC1, HC2+ humbuckers you have a 5 way switch which allows the player to easily switch from humbucking to single tone in either pickup or both. Add to that a master volume and master tone with the push/pull that activates the split position on the middle position and you get every sound you could ever want. This beauty comes with the Anderson G&G hard shell case, Anderson "A" logo strap, trem bar and all the wrenches. The serial number is 01-15-23N. It weighs 7.3 lbs. |

Tom Anderson Cobra S in Black WakesurfBlack and chrome. Think classic motorcycle, leather jacket, mirrored shades. Sleek high performance cars with rich leather seats. Tough, fast, edgy.
This Tom Anderson Cobra S is all that and more! With a smooth mahogany body and Satin neck in a 24 3/4" scale length it brings with it a warm, pronounced midrange tone. Now add a highly figured Quilt maple top that appears three dimensional in person and a Blackheart fingerboard for definition, clarity and punch with Matching black back and headstock and you have the basis for a truly superb instrument. The neck is 1 11/16" nut width with heavy stainless steel frets in an Even Taper back shape, Anderson's most popular neck shape. It's a neck built for gliding over the fingerboard with speed and finesse. The hardware is all chrome including locking tuners, vintage tremolo, knobs and nickel pickup covers. The HC1 and HC2+ delivers everything from warm clean and bright tones to searing, singing overdriven tones. The 5 way switch allows any combination of full humbucker to 'split' single tones, individually or in combination. This beauty is strung with Elixir 10-46 strings and includes the G&G Anderson hard shell case, strap and case candy. Serial number is 07-05-22N. It weighs only 7.1 lbs. |

Classic in Candy Apple RedClassic is the perfect word to describe this beautiful instrument! The Classic is Tom Anderson's take on the iconic S guitar but with improvements like master volume and tone and side mount jack.
This beauty is finished in the classic Candy Apple Red which has just a taste of gold flakes but not enough to be 'sparkly." The body is alder for warm clear tones. The neck is maple but with a Ziricote (Mexican rosewood) fingerboard for a little bit of spice. Standard 25 1/2" scale length, 1 11/16" nut width, medium jumbo stainless steel frets in an Even Taper +30 neck shape gives you a smooth, fast playing and comfortable feel. A Matching Candy Apple Red headstock completes the neck and ties into the body finish. Anderson's SC series pickups deliver very accurate 'vintage' tones to driving lead tones with the SC1, SC1 and SC3. With the five way switch and push/pull tone knob you can get any combination of pickup configurations you like. The hardware is chrome with a vintage tremolo and locking tuners. The pearl white pickguard completes the classic look. This one is strung with 10-46 Elixir pickups and includes the Anderson G&G hardshell case. It weighs 7.3 lbs and serial number is 02-07-23A. |
Drop Top in Blue Wipeout Some of these beauties are really hard to photograph. It changes as you turn it in the light and catches all the reflections so look at all the photos and video to get a good representation. In person the depth changes giving it a three dimensional effect. Wipeout is like standing on the beach in shallow water looking down at the sand as it transitions into the richer blue depth. This guitar plays and sounds as good as it looks!
This is a Drop Top with a highly figured Quilt maple top on an Alder body finished in Blue Wipeout with matching blue back and custom Blue "A" logo on the headstock. The scale length is 25 1/2" adding a bit of snap and definition. The neck is maple shaped in a very comfortable Happy Medium back shape with satin finish, 1 11/16" nut width and Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets that let you glide over the fingerboard! It features SC1, SC1 neck and middle pickups for those silent single tones and an HC2+ bridge pickup for rich full sounds to creamy searing tones when overdriven. You can easily switch from those classic 'straty ' tones to a fat humbucker tone. The 5 way switch allows access to all the combinations of full humbucker or split tones. The vintage tremolo, knobs, trem bar and locking tuners are chrome with white single covers and a nickel humbucker cover. It includes the Anderson G&G hard shell case, paperwork and all the case candy. This one is strung with Elixir .009-.046 strings. Serial number is 10-23-22P. It weighs only 7.2lbs! Well this lasted only one day!! |
